Splinter Cell Conviction on Nokia Lumia sereis

Splinter Cell Conviction boom

If you’ve played a games console in the past decade, you would’ve undoubtedly heard about the Splinter Cell series. If you haven’t, where have you been hiding?

At this point in the game, you’ve left Third Echelon and have gone renegade. After years of deceit, you must only trust yourself to survive.

When you begin Splinter Cell Conviction, there’s some nice video intro that resembles the cut-scenes from the actual console game, and it’s great quality. Like you’d expect from a console.

You start your quest on the docks and have to fight your way past some armed guards. The first one you take down using a killer judo-chop to the back of the neck. Thankfully, he had a silenced pistol, which is now yours.

The controls are fairly simple. Your left thumb will control which way Sam Fisher walks, by using the on-screen joystick. By using your right thumb, you can rotate the world around you.

When it comes to shooting, or melee attacks your right thumb gets all the action. When you’re at a distance from your target, one of the icons on screen will be of gun fire, but when you get closer, it’ll turn to a fist. You choose how you’d prefer to take out your victim. Or to make things easier, stand back and shoot out the lights. That’ll really confuse the enemy.

There’s lots of vengeful fun to be had with Splinter Cell Conviction and if you’ve played any of the series before, you’ll recognise everything about this game. Any achievements you collect from this game will be added to your Xbox Live gamertag.
