THE PORTAL OF NEWS RELEATED TO NOKIA
Facebook has launched the ‘Facebook for every mobile phone’ app which is now compatible with over 2,500 devices in the market.
Additionally, the app supports Hindi, Malay and Vietnamese as of now.
Facebook intends to introduce seven more local Indian languages – Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Bengali and Marathi, which will be supported in coming weeks. Facebook has over 50 million users in India.
Clearly, Facebook wants its user base to be connected all the time and it does not want technological barriers to get in between.
The app facilitates access to ‘the core’ functionality of the social network which includes viewing and uploading photos and finding friends from your phone’s contact.
