THE PORTAL OF NEWS RELEATED TO NOKIA

Microsoft Shipped 2 Million Windows Phone 7 Units with goal of 100,000 fine Apps for WP marketplace

The number of monthly active users of the native Windows Phone Facebook integration has taken another tick up, crossing more then 1.9 million users today.

It took 20 days since 1.8 million, slightly faster than the 21 day average but slower than the 15 days it took from 1.7-1.8 million, which was likely due to the Nokia Lumia 900 launch.

At current rates it appears around 3.2 million Windows Phones will have been sold in Q2, but of course once again this excludes Chinese Tango phones and does not take into account bumps due to the launch of the Nokia Lumia 610 .

Sullivan to Bloomberg  “Sales are an important measure, but for a new platform we think customer satisfaction and active developer support are more important indicators of how sales will be over the long term,”

If any one here thinks Android sales were better then this SO BIG LOL TO THEM because Nokia had sold more then 2.3 billion of a handset running the company’s Series 40 operating system.

but, i know some people could say WHAT DO I NEED TO DO WITH THERE SALE ???

Answer and a good news to them >>

IT GIVES OS MORE POTENTIAL TO GROW APP STORE FASTER,

There’s now non-repeated 90,000 Apps for WP marketplace. To reiterate however, we are not fussed on numbers and care more about quality of App unlike of android app store we noticed many of there apps were repeatedly submitted . Numbers might just be a useful thing to attract devsMarketplace stats

(well, once it reaches that threshold where it’s no longer described as anaemic in comparison to competition).

It also proved most satisfactory OS app store in the world for quality factor of apps.
