Nokia hints 808 PureView update to be out in upcoming weeks.

 

Comment from Nokia accidentally, or not so accidentally reveals that we should be getting firmware update to Nokia 808 PureView in upcoming weeks. Could we be talking about Belle FP2 already?

This information came up on Nokia’s Troubleshooting page concerning 808 taking dark images when setting ISO manually on the Creative Mode.

Nokia 808 PureView is built to take great pictures easily in Automatic mode. If you want to get creative in bright light conditions, our recommendation is to set the ISO setting into the default mode i.e. to use Auto ISO in Creative mode. Within upcoming weeks we will provide software update that will allow to use ISO setting in bright light conditions more flexibly.
